The Mid-Am Racing Series has officially announced its 2027 racing schedule, featuring 11 high-stakes events across premier short tracks in five states. Combining beloved regional traditions, historic venue returns, and an inaugural debut, the upcoming campaign promises one of the most competitive asphalt stock car seasons in recent history.
The 2027 tour opens Saturday, April 17, with the Spring Classic at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois—the first of two stops at the historic third-mile oval.
From there, the series heads north on Sunday, May 16, to take on the world’s fastest quarter-mile at Wisconsin's famed Slinger Super Speedway.
Memorial Day weekend will see the tour visit Madison International Speedway on Friday, May 26, to honor a series founding visionary in the prestigious Gary Vercauteren Memorial.
The Badger State action continues Sunday, June 13, marking a return for the second consecutive year to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Norway Speedway.
Followed by a marquee stop on Saturday, June 26, at Dells Raceway Park alongside the acclaimed Alive for Five Super Late Model series.
Summer heating up brings the tour back to Slinger Speedway for a second showdown on Sunday, July 16.
Just two weeks later, history will be made on Saturday, July 31, when the Mid-Am Racing Series makes its first-ever appearance at the legendary, high-banked quarter-mile of Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana.
The stretch run kicks off Saturday, August 21, with an eagerly awaited return to Minnesota's Elko Speedway for the first time since 2014.
For the third consecutive year, Labor Day weekend tradition brings the thunder to the high banks of Indiana's Winchester Speedway on Sunday, September 5.
The season's penultimate round heads back to Grundy County Speedway on Saturday, September 18, for the crown-jewel Bettenhausen Memorial.
The season finale is seen heading to Wisconsin's Oktoberfest Race Weekend LaCrosse Speedway on Saturday, October 9, where the 2027 Mid-Am Series Champion will officially be crowned.
