Marshfield, WI, (October 3, 2026) – The TUNDRA Super Late Models completed their season on the wide half-mile paved oval at Marshfield Motor Speedway, and was looking to crown a champion.  The annual Chili Implement Fall Shootout proved to be every bit exciting as the fan’s was hopeful it would be!

Jerad de Boer topped all cars in qualifying for the TUNDRA Super Late Models.  TUNDRA heat winners were, Steve Lichtfeld, Frank Nitzke, and Branden Sischo.

When the TUNDRA Super Late’s took to the track for their 75-lap main event, it was Kyle Genett jumping out to the early lead over John Beale.  Genett would lead the first seven laps, but Beale’s car has been very good on the bottom of the track all year, and made the low pass of Genett exiting turn two on the race’s eighth circuit.  John Beale, who hails from Verona, Wisconsin, and has been a Midwest hotshoe for nearly a decade, extended his lead of Genett by 5-car lengths.

With Beale holding a very comfortable lead, Penn Sauter was able to work his way past Genett, whom of which was piloting the Redline Speedsports #7-11.  With a very fast Beale & Sauter pacing the field, Justin Mondeik was working his way thru the field.  Mondeik, another Midwest star driver, moved into third on lap 18.  With John Beale leading, he had a hub fail on him causing him to spin in turn three.  On the restart, it was Sauter and Mondeik, leading the field to the green.  The two drivers raced side by each for numerous laps, with Penn Sauter appearing to have a better cornering car, but Mondeik out horsed Sauter down the shoots.

Another fast driver was that of Wausau’s Travis Volm;  The very familar #76 appeared to have speed all day and moved into the third positon.  On the final few laps, Penn Sauter tried to work his magic getting by Mondeik, but Mondeik’s car was set up masterfully, and parked his car in the Solutionz Victory Lane.  With Penn Sauter coming home with a strong runner up position, it was Trav Volm grabbing the final podium spot.
