THE TUNDRA Super Late Model Series will cease operations after the 2026 season:

Fellow Members of the Short Track Racing Community,

We at the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series consider ourselves privileged to have hosted events at top-class facilities with top-class drivers and teams in front of the best and most passionate fans in

the world of short track racing over the past 16 summers. We began as a concept to do things in a different way and, through the hard work of many dedicated people and the support of tremendous sponsors, were able to write a story that we hope will live within the racing community for many years to come. As with any story, a final chapter and ending must come. Tomorrow's Fall Shootout at Marshfield Motor Speedway will be the final event

of the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series. This decision has been months in the making. As many of you may know, TUNDRA was under the leadership of the Lichtfeld family and myself for many seasons, mainly on a volunteer basis in our spare time. In 2022, the Lichtfeld family moved on due to happenings in their lives. I will forever be grateful for the second family gained by partnering

with them for so many years. The ownership of TUNDRA then transitioned to my family, including my parents who picked up additional tasks to fill their free time, as well. Our family immediately grew with the addition of my wife and now my two daughters. I found out in a hurry that life changes greatly from being a single guy with a void of time to fill to being a husband and father. In the current environment of our sport, it takes an enormous amount of time and dedication to put forth a product that can withstand the challenges we face. Time that had been spent dedicated to preparing for events, chasing sponsorship, marketing, creating communications, discussing rules and doing the things that a race series needs shifted to other priorities. I wouldn't change a thing about having those new priorities in my life. With that being said - despite there no longer being a TUNDRA Super Late Model Series - we aren't going away completely. TUNDRA's group and Marshfield are planning to team up to put on an event in 2027. Rest assured we are fully focused and committed to making tomorrow's race and our 2027 event fun and memorable experiences for racers, teams, and fans. Thank you all for your support throughout our 16 seasons. We appreciate every sponsor, racer, car owner, crew member, track owner/promoter, track worker, official and fan we have encountered inour time.

See you at Marshfield!
