The ARCA Menards Series returns to Madison International Speedway on Friday night, August 28, for the Atlas 200 presented by Menards, marking the 1,610th race in series history, the 13th ARCA event at Madison, and the 33rd time the series has competed in the state of Wisconsin. The 200-lap, 100-mile race will begin at 8 p.m. CT / 9 p.m. ET and will be televised live on FS1. The event also kicks off the final quarter of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season, with just five races remaining in the championship chase.
Jake Bollman enters Madison with a four-point lead over Nitro Motorsports teammate Thomas Annunziata in the series standings, setting up a tight title battle down the stretch. Neither driver has previously raced at Madison, adding another layer to an already important Friday night. Defending Atlas 200 winner Max Reaves will also be one to watch after scoring his latest victory in Sunday’s Calypso 100 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Reaves has six wins in 16 career ARCA Menards Series starts and has already won this season at Springfield, Berlin Raceway and Elko Speedway.
A strong group of challengers is expected, including Phoenix winner Carson Brown, two-time 2026 winner Tristan McKee, reigning ARCA Menards East champion Isaac Kitzmiller, and Wisconsin standout Ty Fredrickson. Brown finished second in the ASA STARS National Tour race at Madison in June, McKee finished sixth in that event, and Fredrickson came home fourth. Fredrickson will make his fourth ARCA Menards Series start of the season and his first of the year in his familiar No. 36 Toyota. Fifteen-year-old Taylor Mayhew will also make his second ARCA Menards Series start for Cook Racing Technologies.
Madison has produced a long list of notable ARCA winners through the years, including Ramo Stott, Tom Bowsher, Bruce Gould, Alex Bowman, Chris Buescher, Kyle Benjamin, Justin Boston, Josh Williams, Austin Theriault, Chandler Smith and Reaves. Friday’s event will continue that tradition with a full night of racing that also includes the Midwest Dash Series, live music and pre-race autographs. Live timing and scoring, along with live race audio, will be available at ARCARacing.com.
