Justin Mondeik outlasted and outran the field to take the checkered flag in Tuesday night’s ASA Midwest Tour Gandrud Auto Group 250 at Wisconsin Int’l Raceway.
Mondeik wrestled the lead away lead from Ty Fredrickson with just 10 laps left around the half-mile short track and was able to take the checkered flag. At the finish he was able to win by .857 seconds .
Mondeik started fourth and picked up the $15,000 first place check. It was Mondeik’s fourth ASA Midwest Tour victory.
Fredrickson finished second, with Penn Sauter, Riley Stenjem and Gabe Sommers completing the top five.
John DeAngelis, Jr., Bryce Miller, Sawyer Effertz, Mitch Haver and Cody Vanderloop rounded out the top five.
