Ty Majeski ran away from the field to win Saturday night’s UARA Carbliss 125 at Golden Sands Speedway. The win was a triumphant return for Majeski who hadn’t competed at the 1/3-mile Wisconsin track in nine years.
Gabe Sommers finished second with Justin Mondeik, Caleb de Boer and Kendrick Kreyer rounding out the top five.
Randy Sargent, Braisen Bennett, Michael Atwell, Lowell Bennett and Wyatt Brooks completed the top ten finishers.
A total of 18 cars took the green flag in the first-ever UARA appearance at Golden Sands. Casey Johnson, who was victorious in the Slinger Nationals last month, was scratched from the entry list suffering from appendicitis.
The win was Majeski’s third UARA National Series victory of the season.
Next up for the series is a trip to Michigan’s Berlin Raceway for the Battle at Berlin 250.
