Dalton Zehr waited patiently, and when the time was right, made his move to capture his second Cleaver Classic 108 TUNDRA Late Model Series race at Golden Sands Speedway on Saturday night.
After several incidents in the first half of the race, Zehr found himself hounding Justin Mondeik for the lead. He was able to slip past, then fight off Mondeik on a restart. Zehr then sailed to the win over Travis Volm and Mondeik.
Braison Bennett and Jerad DeBoer rounded out the top five.
Payton Olson, John Beale, Wyatt Brooks, Darren Jackson and Michael Haggar completed the first ten finishers.
