KRAUS CRUISES AT SLINGER

SLINGER, Wis. — Derek Kraus led flag-to-flag to win Monday night’s took the checkered Turn One CRA Pro at Slinger Super Speedway.

The race was the series’ debut at the high-banked Wisconsin quarter-mile track.

Kraus took the green flag from the pole and never looked back the checkered flag by 3.953-over Jayden Johnson who started the night in sixth position.

Tyler Lupton, Chase Pinsonneault and Albert Francis completed the top five.

The race was a prelude to Tuesday night’s 47th annual Slinger Nationals, featuring a 200-lap feature event for super late models

Carson Brown beat Ty Majeski in Monday’s Bracket Challenge qualifying event, a unique head-to-head matchup among the fastest 32 cars in the day’s practice session. Brown, who won the ASA Stars National Tour race at Slinger in June, earned a $5,000 prize for winning the event.
