One of the biggest weeks of the 2026 Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour season has arrived as the nation’s premier Super Late Model series heads to Wisconsin for a pair of highly anticipated events at two of the Midwest’s most iconic short tracks.
The Wisconsin Racing Double begins on Father’s Day Sunday, June 21 at Slinger Super Speedway with the Badger State 325 before shifting to Madison International Speedway on Tuesday, June 23 for the Capital 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch. The two events will serve as rounds four and five of the 2026 championship campaign and will see some of the best talent when it comes to Super Late Model racing.
Headlining the entry list is Wisconsin favorite Ty Majeski. The Seymour, Wisconsin native captured the 2023 Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour championship before adding a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship the following season. Majeski nearly captured last year’s Badger State 325 before finishing second to Cole Butcher and will be looking to defend home turf during both Wisconsin appearances.
Fans will also see three Snowball Derby champions in action during the week. Joining Majeski are reigning Snowball Derby winner Stephen Nasse and former Snowball Derby champion Derek Thorn. Nasse enters the Wisconsin swing with momentum after sweeping the Southern Super Series doubleheader at Five Flags Speedway just weeks ago.
The veteran contingent continues with a collection of accomplished racers from across the country. Multi-time ASA Midwest Tour Champion Gabe Sommers will compete during the Wisconsin swing, while Luke Fenhaus is expected to join the field at Madison International Speedway. Other experienced contenders include Paul Shafer, Jr., Derek Kraus, Austin Nason, Casey Roderick, and Justin Mondeik, all drivers capable of finding victory lane against the nation’s toughest competition.
The future of Super Late Model racing will be well represented as well. Current ASA STARS championship leader Carson Brown has been one of the breakout performers of the 2026 season after opening the year with victories at New Smyrna Speedway and Five Flags Speedway. Brown will be joined by a talented group of rising stars including former ARCA Menards Series East champion Isaac Kitzmiller, Tristan McKee, Ty Fredrickson, Chase Pinsonneault, Max Reaves, Kyle Steckly, Kasey Kleyn, Levon Van Der Geest, and rookie standout Jade Avedisian, who has impressed throughout her first season with the national tour.
The Badger State 325 at Slinger Super Speedway marks just the second appearance for the ASA STARS National Tour at the famed “World’s Fastest Quarter Mile.” Race day activities begin at noon with practice. ASA STARS Pole Qualifying is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., followed by the Midwest Truck Series Father’s Day 50 at 5:00 p.m., an on-track autograph session at 5:40 p.m., pre-race ceremonies at 6:30 p.m., and the green flag for the Badger State 325 at 7:05 p.m.
Two days later, the tour heads south to Madison International Speedway for the fourth consecutive running of the Capital 200. Practice begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by ASA STARS Pole Qualifying at 5:15 p.m. Fans will have an opportunity to meet the drivers during the on-track autograph session at 6:15 p.m. before pre-race ceremonies at 7:00 p.m. and the green flag for the Capital 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch at 7:35 p.m.
