DOUBLEHEADER WEEKEND AT GRUNDY

An action packed Double Header Weekend awaits the Grundy County Speedway this weekend. The action kicks off on Friday June 19th with the fan favorite On Track Autograph Session plus it’s Double Features Night for the NASCAR Mid Ams, D’Arcy Motors NASCAR Street Stocks, Village Realty NASCAR Pure Stocks, Action Truck Parts Crown Vics and Super Cups.

Times: Pit Gates 3:30 / Fan Gates 5:00 / Racing 7:30

Prices: Adults $18 / Seniors $15 / Kids (12-17) $10 / 11 and Under FREE

Then on Saturday it's the rescheduled Junk Yard Dog Triple 30’s presented by Rod Baker Ford honoring long time competitor Larry Schuler. This race will serve as Race #2 of the Six Pack Summer Shootout Series for the Super Late Models. Also in action will be the Village Realty NASCAR Pure Stocks for Race #2 of their six race challenge series, Sixers and Super Cups.

Six Pack Rewind: Last time the Six Pack Summer Shootout Series was in action was Saturday May 9th for the Wayne Carter Classic. 19 cars were on hand for the Twin 50 Lap Features. Ricky Baker came home with the win in Feature #1 while Max Kahler won Feature #2. Kahler was also crowned the overall winner of the Wayne Carter Classic with a 2nd place in Feature #1 to go along with his Feature #2 Victory.

Last Time Super Lates Raced: Friday May 29th was the last time Super Late Models ran at the Grundy County Speedway. Caleb Adrian came home with the win in the 40 Lap Feature over DJ Weltmeyer, Larry Schuler, Ricky Baker and Eddie Hoffman.
