One of the Midwest's most accomplished short track racers will be honored this Saturday night as Grundy County Speedway hosts the Junk Yard Dog Triple 30's presented by Rod Baker Ford honoring Larry Schuler. The race will serve as Race #2 of the Six Pack Super Late Model Series.

Schuler's name is synonymous with success throughout the Midwest racing scene. While many fans know him as a former Grundy County Speedway Track Champion and Wayne Carter Classic winner, his accomplishments extend far beyond the confines of the Morris oval. Schuler is also a former Champion at Illiana Motor Speedway and Wisconsin International Raceway with the Fox River Racing Club. He has 10 career ARTGO Challenge Series victories and is a three-time winner of the prestigious Bettenhausen Memorial, cementing his place among the top short track racers of his era.

The event will feature the Six Pack Super Late Model Series competing in a unique Triple 30’s format, with drivers battling through three 30-lap feature events during the evening. As Race #2 of the Six Pack Super Late Model Series season, competitors will be chasing valuable championship points while looking to add their name to the winner's list in one of the marquee events of the summer.

In addition to the Six Pack Super Late Model Series, a full card of racing will be on tap, featuring the Village Realty NASCAR Pure Stocks, Sixers and Super Cups. For more information and tickets visit http://www.grundycountyspeedwayonline.com/index.html
