Ty Majeski found himself in a familiar place Sunday as he made a trip to Slinger Super Speedway Victory Lane in the 2026 ASA Midwest Tour season opener.
Majeski worked his way around Alex Prunty for the top spot on lap 51 and pulled away to score his 41st career Midwest Tour Victory. Majeski took the checkered flag by over two seconds ahead of second place finisher Grant Griesbach. Casey Johnson finished third.
The win was worth $7,500 for Majeski, who indicated after the race he’d return to Slinger several times this season including for the ASA Stars National Tour race on Father’s Day, the Slinger Nationals on July 14 and a slate of super late model “Triple Crown” races on the schedule in 2026.
Prunty and Derek Krause rounded out the top five. Gabe Sommers, John DeAngelis, Levon VanDerGeest, Luke Fenhaus and Ty Fredrickson complete the first ten finishers.
Next up for the ASA Midwest Tour is a trip to Madison Int’l Speedway on Sunday, May 3rd for the Joe Shear Classic.
