MIDWEST TOUR OPENS AT SLINGER

The 2026 Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA Midwest Tour kicks off its season Sunday at Slinger Super Speedway.

A field of 31 cars is entered for Jerry Priesgen Memorial at the high banked, ¼-mile Wisconsin short track. The 100-lap main event will be the first of the campaign for the tour that will see a total of ten races contested throughout the Midwest.

Among the drivers competing in the Slinger opener are former Craftsman Truck Series champion and Slinger Nationals winner Ty Majeski, Luke Fenhaus, defending series champion Casey Johnson, Derek Kraus, Ty Fredrickson and Gabe Sommers among others.

The Slinger Pro Late Models will also be in action on Sunday with a $2,500 to win main event. Rounding out the card will be the debut of the new Slinger Crown Vics division.

Gates open at 1 pm while racing begins at 3 pm.
