FENHAUS WINS ICEBREAKER

Luke Fenhaus kicked off the 2026 midwest super late model season with a win in Sunday’s rain-delayed Icebreaker 100 at Dells Raceway Park

The event was originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon but showers in the area forced officials to shift the traditional season opener to Sunday.

Fenhaus started fourth in the 100-lap main event at the 1/3-mile track and outran Casey Johnson to the checkered flag to score his second Icebreaker win of his career.

Gabe Sommers, Penn Sauter and Tristan Swanson rounded out the top five. Bobby Kendall, John DeAngelis, Jacob Goede Jayden Johnson and Gordon DeVoy completed the first ten finishers.

DeAngelis won the 602 Late Model feature while Blake Brown scored the win in the season opener for the Midwest Truck Series.
