Officials with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA Midwest Tour presented by Five Star Bodies have announced the payouts for their 2026 season events.
The 20th season will kick off on Sunday, April 26th with the Jerry Priesgen Memorial at Slinger Super Speedway in Slinger, Wisconsin. A total of 11 events are scheduled in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota.
The Joe Shear Classic at Madison International Speedway in Oregon, WI, and the Gandrud 250 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, WI, will pay $15,000 to the winner with $1,500 to start the main event.
The Howie Lettow Classic 100 at Madison International Speedway will pay $5,000 for the winner and $850 to start the event honoring the legendary short track crew chief.
The Jim Sauter Classic 200 at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, WI, will give $10,005 to the winner and $1,005 to start the Labor Day weekend event.
The season finale, the Oktoberfest 200 at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, WI, where a 2026 champion will be crowned, will pay $10,000 to the winner and $1,000 to start the main event that closes out four days of racing.
Six of the remaining events will have an increased payoff of $5,000 to win and $725 to start. The payout is strong through the field as well as 8th place will pay $950 and 16th will pay $800. This payout will be for the events at Slinger Super Speedway (Slinger, WI), Jefferson Speedway (Jefferson, WI), Norway Speedway (Norway, MI), Hawkeye Downs Speedway (Cedar Rapids, IA), Elko Speedway (Elko, MN), and Grundy County Speedway (Morris, IL).
“Being able to grow the ASA Midwest Tour while increasing payouts for our competitors is a major priority for us,” said Alex Gilhart, ASA Midwest Tour Series Director. “Everything we’re working toward is designed to create more opportunity for our teams and ensure the series continues moving forward in a positive direction.”
