The star power continues to rise for the 47th Annual Cobblestone Slinger Nationals, as NASCAR standout Carson Hocevar and Chevrolet development driver Tristan McKee are officially entered for the prestigious event on July 13–14, 2026 at Slinger Speedway.
Both drivers will compete under the banner of Wauters Motorsports, in conjunction with Spire Motorsports, creating one of the most formidable pairings expected to take on the legendary high banks this summer.
Hocevar, widely regarded as one of NASCAR’s brightest young stars, continues to return to his short-track roots to battle against elite Super Late Model competition. Known for his intensity, race craft, and ability to perform under pressure, Hocevar brings national attention and serious winning credentials to this year’s Nationals field.
McKee, a rising talent within Chevrolet’s driver development pipeline, has been building an impressive résumé across multiple racing disciplines, including stock car competition and road racing series. His adaptability and technical skillset make him a dangerous competitor on a demanding track like Slinger.
The duo heads to Wisconsin carrying strong momentum after both recorded Top-5 finishes just days ago at New Smyrna Speedway during the ASA STARS National Tour event. Competing against some of the best Super Late Model drivers in the country, their performances signal they’ll be serious contenders when they chase the iconic Slinger Nationals Title.
The Cobblestone Hotels, LLC Slinger Nationals presented by Lynch Buick GMC of West Bend has long served as a proving ground for established stars and future champions, and the 2026 edition is shaping up to feature one of the deepest and most competitive fields in event history.
