A mix of tradition and new events highlight the 2026 Grundy County Speedway schedule.
The 1/3-mile paved track located in Morris, Illinois will host a variety of weekly and special events throughout the year.
The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series track will see Big 8-style late models as the class representing the track in the national competition. The touring Big 8 Late Model Series will also make a pair of visits to Grundy the first coming on Saturday, April 18 with the 49th annual Spring Classic. The tour returns on Friday night, September 18 as part of the Bettenhausen Memorial weekend.
Super Late Models will compete in a brand new Six Pack Summer Shootout, which features $150,000 in total purse. The half dozen dates will be capped off by the Bettenhausen Memorial on Saturday night, September 19, which will also be a race sanctioned by the ASA Midwest Tour.
